~Erica Terry (04:25)
Here's some highlights from this episode:
I don't care if this was your first year or this is your 20th year. No matter where you are, you have enough knowledge and enough expertise right now to create a profitable online business
Power Hour should be your daily routine. If you don't commit to making that a part of every single day, then you are not going to achieve the success that you desire.
But I want you to start thinking about the fact that you're going to choose one income stream. I've been saying at the end of every episode, that you are only one additional stream of income away from moving from the Classroom to CEO. And for the rest of 2020, you are going to focus on building your business on one income stream, you always can expand later, you always can add additional streams of income later.
Income stream number 1 is so simple to start because it doesn't require a lot of tools. And it really doesn't require a lot of time to get it started. And that first income stream is...
Because you're already an educator, because you're already creating lesson plans and you understand instructional design and how to put individual lessons in a sequence that makes sense and helps students to master the standards. You can do the same thing for adults.
if your goal is to build an online business that empowers other educators, one way that you can do that is through our common love of gaining more knowledge and our common practice of reading books.
Here's your Power Hour Assignment:
- Choose ONE Income Stream
- Focus on implementing it for the rest of the year
